Through my stories and photos, I hope to show how connected we are as humans, all moving through similar life situations and learning to find beauty in the everyday. Maybe that’s God’s purpose for me.

About Me

Originally from Southern California, I've called Florida home for the past four years. Like many new beginnings, the move came with uncertainty. Looking for where I belonged, I picked up a camera and spent countless hours exploring nature trails, quiet backroads, and places I had never seen before. Photography became more than a hobby—it became a way of finding peace, purpose, and perspective.

That season of life wasn't always easy. It took time, tears, prayers, patience, and eventually the understanding that God had placed me exactly where I was needed. Looking back now, I can see it was a season of growth that shaped both who I am and how I tell stories.

Today, I'm approaching two years as a contributing writer and photographer for a well-known local newspaper in Central Florida and its sister magazine. My work has appeared in photo galleries, and I've had the privilege of documenting the people, places, and moments that make our communities unique. Every photograph has a story, and every story deserves to be told with honesty and heart.

This journal is something different.

After spending so much time covering breaking news and writing the stories assigned to me, I wanted a place where I could simply write about what inspires me. Here, you'll find my thoughts, experiences, reflections, photography, and the stories behind the images I capture. This space gives me the freedom to slow down, share my own perspective, and connect with others beyond the headlines.

Whether you've found your way here through my photography, my newspaper work, or simply by chance, I'm glad you're here. I hope something you read—or a photograph you see—encourages you to pause, reflect, and perhaps see the world a little differently.
